Trash and the Santa Fe River

The story was on trash, there wasn't very much honestly.
But there were plenty of people enjoying a sunny day on the river.

The top two are the ones that ran in the paper.
I wanted to try something a bit different though and attempted to use my old Holga as a way to make the road somewhat interesting.
The story was literally about the road being scenic.
The Holga photos didn't pass with the copy desk.
Oh well.

Disappearing Blueberries

This year's lack of rain has made the blueberry crop almost non-existive for some farmers, including this nice little old lady who is still running the u-pick-um blueberry farm started by her late husband.

STEAK

So meat, steak, cow, whatever, I am the only photographer here who doesn't like steak and was raised vegetarian. I get sent to the Steak Taste-off.
And I shot video.

Bentley and Dog Gatorade

Bentley made front page this week with UF's new Gatorade for dogs.
To lure him to sit still I was holding a treat only a few inches from his face and shooting with the other hand while lying on my stomach.
Luckily he was finally thirsty after all the treats and drank the water.
