Morning Marathon

The physical energy of this city is amazing. As I was driving at 6:15 am to this assignment the marathon was already in full swing and I was passing people of all ages along Coors Boulevard just going for a morning hike. This is an active place to live. Live it up and get moving should be the city's motto.

This next photo is somewhat of an outtake but yet reminiscent of Borat and thus had to be saved for posterity. He won the 5K and I think his one person cheering squad was more excited than he was.

85 and Running

Jogging at 7 am with a 85-year-old woman. She left me in the dust. I should work on that. And all those ribbons hanging on the board in the second photo, they are just from this year alone.

Cold Morning Marathon

This guy actually won the half-marathon.
This was taken right after I realized I lost my pager and decided the start of the race might be a bad thing to miss if I went looking for it.
It was found and returned to me just a few days later.
