Rodeo brothers that were really cool to photograph and hang out with. I first photographed them at home and then followed them to the practice ring where they showed off roping calfs. Four photos ran in daybreak.

St. Francis dedication

This is the dedication ceremony for the first Catholic High School in Gainesville. It was pretty cool following the bishop around while he blessed the school with holy water. I think I got a few drops of holy water on me while I was taking pictures. Weee!

It seems that I have been shooting many of the dance groups coming through lately, or maybe that's just because it's the end of the school year and there are a plethora of dance shows and recitals right now. Either way, it's fun.

NFL basketball...

I photographed Clinton Portis and some of his NFL buddies playing basketball at SFCC Friday night for his foundation's annual charity weekend. They were 2.5 hours late! Yikes, crowd was not too happy, but we all dealt with it. I was almost run over by one player when squating below and behind the net to get at a good angle. And then to top off the night two players hit on me afterwards. Oye what fun to be a woman photojournalist.
