Last weekend I photographed the collectors expo at The Villages.

On Thursday Marion County held day two of the Special Olympics, I was already attending to photograph my photo story when the paper asked me to cover it for them as well. Below is my favorite photo from the day although it didn't run.

Busy busy weekend

On Saturday I photographed the 100th Habitat for Humanity home to be built in Marion County and it ran as a small article-less package. Here's one photo from the group. This is 3-year-old Joseph Santiago helping to build his new house.

I also photographed Kenny Rogers in concert at Silver Springs. I can't seem to find the online article however.

Sunday I covered the meeting of two penpals for the first time.
