Lake Weir vs. Eastside High outtake...
This doesn't happen very often at all...
As the center player was running the ball for a touchdown a member of the other team tried to stop him by pulling at his pants, the pants went down and he kept running all the way to the endzone before pulling up his pants. Unfortunately his team lost 17-31.

This family from only 2 miles west of New Orleans is now homeless from the hurricane. They were passing through Gainesville on Saturday and stopped at a Wal-Mart parking lot hoping to gain enough gas money to make it to Orlando where they want to start a new life. Father of the family, Chuck Power, said he felt embarassed holding a sign and asking for food but there was no other choice. His children though, they had made a game out of it and had a good time telling me stories and showing me magic tricks.

However the copy desk changed my cutline. The original told how the people in the photo were debating how to phonetically spell the girl's name, which I thought was a pretty funny moment, but the photo looks like they were just standing around. Grr.
