Feature hunt led me to this little girl.

Children at the Capitol

A few days in a row it seemed like there were cute kid features everywhere in the capitol building. First there were the flamenco dancers, rehearsing and primping. Then there was the school group of kindergarteners and first-graders grabbing at a statue in the governor's office. And finally, the group of cute signing kids that were performing in the rotunda.

Ready for War

Feature hunting on Sunday led me to these guys. Wearing armor they were practicing fighting for a war coming up in a few weeks. Very nice people who wanted me to come back and join them. Don't know if I'm the sword swingin' type though.

Kiddies in the park are never-ending features. I need to start finding other stuff around town.

Tingley BEACH?

So I was hugely disappointed when I drove out feature hunting to a place in town called Tingley Beach. I expected a fake beach and people in bathing suits. Haha. Nope. It was more like three big man-made lakes and they were stocked with catfish so people could fish. Oye Vey. New Mexico doesn't know what a beach is, that makes me sad.

Weather Feature

Nothing like a last minute feature request.

La Chua Trail

Big gator on the La Chua Trail... one of my favorite places to go when I need a break and need to experience nature.

The dogs made a cute enough feature but then the little girl got her hair caught in the dog's leash.

I have some weird Eastside connection, every assignment having to do with Eastside I get. And then my feature? Oh the Eastside tennis team that just happened to be practicing at some public park.

Last minute feature was needed and after talking to this little girl's grandmother turns out they were from the Daytona area, just in town visiting a family friend in the hospital. They even had a connection to Spruce Creek.

Fuzzy Feature

This feature is from a few weeks ago but so funny I had to post it despite the shelf life.
The bunnies weren't too sure of what to do on a leash.
Their owners on the other hand wanted them walking/hopping around.
